Learn the process of both wax carving, and casting in this 5 hour jewellery making workshop. We will first explore the processes involved in wax carving by filing, sanding and carving a piece of jewellers wax. This wax model will then be used to make a sand cast mould from. Once your ring has been cast in sterling silver, I will demonstrate how to clean up and apply a polished or matte finish to your ring which will then be ready to wear and take home. ring by melting silver to create new jewellery using a crucible and pouring into different mould types.
