Introduction Jewellery Making

This two day workshop is suitable for students who haven’t had any jewellery making experience. The workshop will allow students to learn to basic techniques and skills to starting their jewellery making journey.

The workshop has two sessions available, and will run on Thursday 25th/Friday 26th January (9am - 5pm) and Saturday 20th/Sunday 21st April 2024, with a lunch break in between on both days.

During the workshop Megan will cover technical skills such as soldering, saw piercing, forming, granulation, wax carving and more. In this workshop, you will be given different projects based on each skill, and will leave the two day workshop with a range of finished pieces (ring/earring/pendant, as well as some samples) Materials for the two days are included in the workshop cost, and it also includes the cost of a wax ring being sent off to be cast/cleaned up by Megan for you to collect a couple of weeks later.

Previous jewellery making experience is NOT necessary.
